"It was a miracle that you came."
--From Shiomi (video at bottom), the lady who prayed for volunteers to help feed survivors with a BBQ,
...to us.
An excited gasp. A smiley exclamation.
--From a hungry, 11-year old girl at the sight of our BBQ
...to her friends and family who have also missed the taste of meat for the past 4 months.
Yelling. Stomping. Crying.
--From the small child now living out of a tent
...to no one who understands.
"His ways are far greater than ours."
--From the pastor who lost everything except for his car, cell phone, and Bible...to his church.
"You're so good, so so good to me. So good, so so good to me. You're so good, so so good to me, Jesus."
--From the bottom of my heart I sang
...to our listeners who I hope will one day proclaim these words.
"I will never forget your kindness."
--From an elderly man who appreciated a worship song we played for him...to our team's downtrodden hearts when I felt like my small efforts to serve were insignificant.
"And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."
-Deuteronomy 31:8
